| Like one of the other reviewers, I also purchased the EeePC 701 earlier this year. With it's many shortcomings, it was soon gathering dust.
I was a little hesitant in purchasing another netbook, but I'm glad I took the plunge. This system addresses the problems with the EeePC, and I doubt if it will be sitting idle for any extended period. | This is an exceptional laptop though it does run hot on your lap so I got a laptop cooler just so it lifts it off my lap with circulation underneath and it keeps it cool enough so it doesn't shut down without using the usb fan which is great because I don't want to be listening to a usb fan when I'm working.
The first laptop I purchased at costco would crash when it got too hot because I had it directly on my lap without much circulation. The laptop I have now with the cooler doesn't ever ... Read More: |

| This laptop is stunning to look at, with a state-of-the-art look and feel. The monitor is fantastic. I use mine 98% of the time at home--which is good, because it is heavy. if you travel a lot, I recommend a smaller and lighter laptop for that reason. |

| I now have three q1 ultra premiums. All three units are used as data collection points for garbage route drivers. My oldest is over 5 months old and I love them, No Problems. All three units are inside of otter boxes.
Only one con. When starting the unit without an auxiliary power source, the backlit level is too low making it almost impossible to use. |

| I got this notebook after my desktop PC died. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the Compaq Presario F755. As far as notebooks go, this one is a no-frills basic notebook. While it has 3 USB ports, it's missing a PCI-Express slot, Firewire as well as the HP dock adaptor. As long as you don't have a need for these interfaces, this notebook is fine.
The only complaint I have is the display doesn't render colors in great fidelity when compared to my HP w1907 monitor. You'll need to either calibrate the display using the NVidia ... Read More: |

| Well it is a beautiful laptop! I love it.I really , really, really want it, BUT !!!!I cant use it. I got it friday , took it out of the box started it up and BAM! the keyboard does not work. Sony is sending someone over to my house to fix it and I hope they can fix it. We got it from amazon and i hope that if sony cant fix it that amazon will ship out a new one. Ive never had an issue with amazon so i have trust in them.I will keep you updated.... |

I ordered a Sony VGN- N140E as a second laptop for the house from Sony Style following a succesful experience with a Sony Vaio in the past. Unfortunately, the machine was defective upon arrival with what appeared to be a bad contact in the power circuit which mean't that the machine would not turn on.
