| I actually like it a lot, but through no fault of the PC, I feel it is just a biiit too small. i understand that's the point, but i think a lot of people would be well advised to try it out at a store first. The screen really is very small, and if i had to do it again, i would have considered the 10" netbooks more seriously.. Other than the size, it runs very smoothly, the keyboard is great, and i have no problems with the processor speed.

| This laptop has turned out to be a real joy. I am a student, who needed a small laptop as a replacement for my 17 inch laptop which is just far too big for class. I'm so impressed! This laptop is beautiful and runs really great. I purchased 2 gigs of ram and installed it before I even turned it on, so I'm not sure how it runs on 1gb. | Great little notebook. Keyboard is just perfect size. I had mine booting 4 different OSes: Vista, XP, OSX and Ubuntu 8.04 using Vista boot loader.
Atom CPU is no workhorse but has enough power to handle most tasks. 3 Cell Battery lasts around 2.5 hrs in XP and 3hrs in Vista. | This is a very well constructed product. It runs Vista extremely well (better than XP in my opinion). It is built like a brick and feels very sold and high quality. To me, it has more of a solid and polished construction than the much more expensive MacBook. Keyboard is a bit small for touch typing, but I recently pounded out an 8 page essay with no problem. The screen is super bright and the battery life is amazing (4 plus hours). The only annoying factor is the placement of the right shift key. You can find free software to switch the function ... | Purchased this Acer One Aspire from Beach Camera for about $330. When I took it out of the box and started it up, I noticed I couldt type anything, most of the keyboard keys did not work. I called Beach Camera to see if I could exchange, they said it could not be exchanged and I must go through Acer for it was a warranty issue. I spoke to Acer and they informed me I would have to send it in to them for repair. I of course had to pay to ship it back to them.
