| Well i have already bought a Sony SR 42 Handy cam through Amazon. More than anyone i trust Amazon now. This Logitech speakers are the ones that i bought recently. They are very cheap and good deal.
Well my requirments were a good speakers to watch movies and listen to music. I didnt want woofer or other effects. So this is much a better deal than i thought. It is more than sufficient. Sound Quality is very good. No echoes or noise. As always Amazon could be trusted for good quality products |

| when i recieved this set of speakers i was amazed! after reading many reviews i had high expectations for this product. Let me just say that these speakers exceeded all of those expectations! Bass is unbelievable! Mid range is great! Higher notes are also great! the design is also slick, just make sure you have room for the enormous sub woofer. it doesn't even bother me that the sub is so large, the sound it creates is well worth it. | My right speaker busted @ 50% volume while playing the 360. On the third day. I didn't expect this sort of craftsmanship from logitech. Also, I can't find a pair of replacements for these either without buying a whole new set. |

| I have owned the Z-5500's for over a year now and have not experienced a single problem with the speakers. I had to read through the 1 and 2 star reviews to get a feel for what people thought were valid complaints.
For the peolpe who experienced a problem under warranty then complained because they wouldn't have sound for 2 weeks while the repair was in progress- you rated these speakers 1 or 2 stars, if they are that bad you should just go purchase a cheesy set of speakers and leave these to the true ... | I love my little JBL speakers.
After becoming mildly obsessed with the quality of audio in my life, I bought a JBL On Tour speaker set to stand in place of my tinny Macbook Pro speakers. Some people will complain that they sound tinny and not very powerful. The fact is, they offer nice clear audio at volumes above what a laptop is capable of. | Ever since I got an iPhone, I've been looking for a decent set of computer speakers that would not exhibit the dreaded buzz produced by cell phones that use GSM technology, like the iPhone does when connected to AT&T's Edge network. (3G solves the problem, but coverage is still spotty). I'm thrilled to say that my search is finally OVER.

| These speakers are decent enough for laptops that do not generate enough volume through their internal speakers IF you are watching tv shows streamed online or for DVDs. However, I would recommend something more expensive if your laptop is your primary music system.
The sound does not handle bass at all well and that is a natural result of having no sub-woofer. |

| The speakers are plenty loud for a laptop computer. Sometimes the sound is funky depending upon the medium that you're playing. Things may sound too high pitched or too flat, which will result in you changing the EQ quite a lot. While that gets annoying after awhile, it isn't a big enough deal to make me want to get rid of the speakers. The price was right, and if you have the EQ adjusted properly the sound is right also.

| These are replacing a set of Klipsch desktop speakers that went to a new HDTV in another room so they are getting compared to a very good set of speakers that cost around $200. First of all the sound is very impressive for a set of speakers at this price range. Other speakers around this price have been very deficient in my opinion. The bass is weak compared to the Klipsch (those speakers have 3 cones each, high , mid, bass) but not bad. | In regard to some folks having problems with the mid-range sound, that could be due to adjusting the bass setting too high which would effect the sound of the mid-range. Some folks try to put extra bass where it doesn't belong. I left the setting at the factory default which gives very satisfying bass. There is ample cords supplied, so you can place the speakers anywhere. I put mine on a lower shelf of my computer desk.
