| I don't have much to add beyond what has already been written, but I have this model and the perpendicular model for my house. They are very well made and rugged. Very little plastic. The design prevents the hose from being pinched or twisted. They also look great and go with most home exteriors. The assembly takes about 10 minutes if you're at all mechanically inclined. | I have this sprinkler without the timer. If I had to do it again, I would chose this model. I LOVE this sprinkler. The sprinkler covers a large area with a good even spray. I use the quick release system because I often use a water wand a Gardena which they no longer make (wished I'd ordered 4 of those they are great also) Gardena makes quality products. | The difference is so measurable from others that I'm back to buy another as gift, seriously!
I have the 50 ft, and yes, this hose is heavy weight however, the quality and performance is greater than I've ever experienced with a consumer level hose (as opposed to industrial level I've used in food processing environment). | This is the second one of these I have gotten. Obviously, I LIKE it! Not just a really practical outdoor sink, but I also like reeling up the long garden hose without the hassle of cranking the reel...letting the water do it for me! |

| We gave this a try for about a month. We found the Crank Crate cumbersome and heavy. It also seized up in cold weather so we would not recommend this product. Our neighbors have one where the hose is exposed and is on substantial wheels - a much better design for mobility. |

| This item is good & sturdy, it should hold up well under Gulf coast conditions...it survived Ike!! The negative: this reel doesn't hold the length of hose as specified though (maybe 125', but definitely not 150'). |
