| Very good trimmer and it sure beats trimming with hand shears. However in dense brush it is very easy to get the cord in a position where it will be cut. I also found that cuts of dense growth near the ground should be made from the ground up to avoid dulling the blades by stiking the ground. I recommend the 18 inch or longer model. |

| I have been using the 17" hedge trimmer for couple of years. The 17" hedge trimmer can only trim branches up to 3/8" and this is a very annoying limitation.
This 24" is far more better and powerful. First, the longer trimmer length indeed reduces the trimming time. Secondly, it easily cuts through 1/2" branches. | This is a good product that does what it promises: it extends your reach in trimming bushes and weeds. You can reach about five or six feet beyond your arm's length.

| The cordless electric shrubber was adequate but not spectacular in its performance. It was shipped and delivered as expected in a reasonable manner. I certainly wish it had multiple replaceable batteries like previous black and decker cordless tools, so I could keep working with one battery while another one was on charge. |

I bought this thinking I could save myself time and money using this rather than the traditional weed eaters- no such luck. It wont cut (I ended up using big household scissors with better results)In the end I will still have to buy the traditional weed eater. Black and Decker dropped the ball on this one- def. NOT worth the money! |

| This is my second one in three years. My battery charger quit working,so I bought a whole new unit. I really didn't use the hedge trimmer that much and felt it should have a longer life and be of better quality. The product is lightweight and easy to use and the price is okay. All other rechargeable trimmers are more money. If the first one didn't have the battery charger problem, I would have rated the product higher. |

| I am a senior with arthritis and spinal problems and thought the Garden Groom would enable me to work in the garden. However, as I walk with a walker or canes, it was too heavy for me to use. I still think it would be a good help in the garden but not for me. |
