Not much. It does not have the dangling rope and handle my old unit had. The rotating head is useful sometimes. Things to dislike: It does not have the power nor the longevity and strength of my old unit. (The old unit was purchased from Builder's Square many years ago. This is a great tool. It's sharp, lightweight, and fits comfortably in my hand. Even my husband noticed how much easier it was for me to do the pruning. The only fault I see is the lock that engages sometimes while you're snipping. However, that is easily fixed and doesn't affect my satisfaction with this tool. I liked it so much that I bought one for my best friend. |

| I found these pruners fine for light pruning and dead heading. They are mildly disappointing as some very small tasks take two or more clips to make the cut. Still they are lightweight and comfortable to use. Considering the price, I am satisfied with them. |

| If gardening is a true passion for you, don't think twice about the price on these pruners -- they are worth every penny. I have easily spent $40 on less-than-amazing pruners in the past year. . . as long as you clean off the Felco pruners after using (I wipe them off with a damp towel, then dry, and then I use WD-40 to prevent rust), they will last you a long time. |

| I had been splitting 16" hard maple and yellow birch with an 8 pound maul.
There were occasions when I had to saw into the block 4-6" and then use a wedge to split it. The Fiskars super splitting axe usually cracks the block on the first attempt, and I have not had a block that I couldn't split. It's light weight, compared to the maul, requires much less energy and is a pleasure to use. I am extermely happy with this purchase. |
