| THe best Darkthrone since at least Ravishing Grimness. Darkthrone have taken what I like to refer to as their modern sound which they started with Panzerfaust(IMO) and matured and developed it even further. THis is their most varied album probably since Panzerfaust as well.

| I became interested in Poulenc's DIALOGUES des CARMELITES long before I heard a note of the opera. I was twelve or thirteen at the time and was looking something up in an encyclopedia and I came across the entry for opera. Glossy photographs accompanied the entry and a stark black and white photograph of singers dressed as nuns lying prostrate on the floor piqued my curiosity. | I have listened to this CD many times, I laugh out loud every time. I have the only two cd's he has made, and I guess I was fortunate to get them for little money. As funny is he is, I would never in a million years pay $100 for it however. Someone is nuts. |

| I'm glad a previous reviewer mentioned this product was a abridged audio of the book. This CD does have a reasonable price. The complete book is on a different CD. The other CD seems unabridged, but I haven't compared the text line for line. The Complete Plato's Republic is the audio version of the translation by Benjamin Jowett. It won't turn up in a search of "Music" like this version did. You have to go to the page for the book, look at where it says "Also Available in:" and look for the link that says "Audio ...
