| Mellencamp is my favorite solo artist. I like and own everything he has ever done, so I am probably not the most objective reviewer of his work.
Mellencamp has really come into a new realm of creativity over the past few years. This record demonstrates an amazing amount of depth, range, and musical mastery. | The Gaither Vocal Band has always been a family favorite Christian rock group. I say rock, because their fine instrumental and vocal arrangements ROCKS and they do it without removing the focal point of praises to the Most High. I have too many favorite songs on this two-CD compilation to list. But one that strikes my heart is: A Brand New Song to Sing (track #8). | As an American who knew Cliff Richard for primarily one song, "Devil Woman", I had to find out why this guy has sold so many records in England, doing as well as, if not better than the Beatles. This collection answered the question and justified the "risk" I took, in purchasing a large collection of , to me, unknown material. | This Netherlands compilation includes many of Cliff's 1970s hits in the U.K. & the U.S. The best part however is the inclusion of a number of rarely heard but excellent album tracks. Among these are very good songs that Cliff wrote or co-wrote. These are "Nothing Left For Me To Say," "No One Waits," and "Needing A Friend."
