| I'm a huge fan of the Home Alone movie, and have watched it every holiday for the last decade and a half. It's like a family tradition. Having said that, you can understand how listening to the soundtrack allows the movie to play inside my head.
Every theme is here in its complete form. None of the tracks feel truncated or compacted. At $7 bucks, this is a steal for fans of the movie. If you haven't seen the movie (you really ought to!) you'll still enjoy one of Williams' few playful ... Read More: |

The 2007 Film Soundtrack featuring Johnny Depp as Sweeney Todd and Helena Bohman Carter as Mrs Lovett is a unique, fresh recording which makes the musical more accessible to both theatre and non-theatre fans.

| I bought the soundtrack because of all the hype the music in the movie was receiving, and I'm normally not disappointed when I take a chance on an album, but I really was this time. I thought that there might be a problem when I didn't recognize any of the artists featured on the soundtrack. Anyway, the songs as a whole are quite creative and "different." | Teachers, I bought this for use with my Social Studies classes. I have the songs playing in the background as my students are entering the room or doing independent work. These familiar old Schoolhouse Rock songs actually do have real information in the lyrics! It's a great way to utilize a more non-traditional modality for introduction and reinforcement of material. |

| I ordered this cd 'cause I love the movie. The music says alot about the movie. I was disappointed that Gerald Butler doesn't sing on this soundtrack. Although, his favorite song is featured on the album "If I Ever Leave This World Alive." I have no regrets buying this cd. Everyone should buy this cd along with the movie. Together they go hand and hand. |
