| Part of the reason of The Lord of the Rings movies success is due to the awesome score that Howard Shore has so magnificently created. A trully brilliant piece of art that pulls you into the world of Middle-Earth and keeps you there. You seldom hear genius any more, but this soundtrack is a stunning reminder that it still exists. | I purchased the cd strictly for the tracks "The Call" by Regina Spektor and "This is Home" by Switchfoot. These are surprisingly my favorite tracks.
I wasn't very impressed by the other songs that had lyrics, but the "soundtracks" are good. Kind of reminds me of some of the songs from Pirates (without that theme of course). Overall didn't disappoint in a soundtrack sort of sense. |

| I love Bernic and Sam Jackson in this movie! Reminiscent of Eddie and Martin in "Life". But disappointed that "A Walk in the Park" was not on the soundtrack. I enjoyed them singing that song at the end of the movie. What happened? |

| I purchased this DVD because I have been cast as Mrs. Paroo in a local production of "Music Man" and wanted to re-acquaint myself with it. I had forgotten that Hollywood was capable of creating something so entertaining and free of sex, violence, and dirty words. It was so refreshing. |

| Before I heard this album, I viewed Dylan as over rated and I did not understand what all the fuss was about. The main song I had heard before this was rainy day women with it's horrable lyrics "everybody must get stoned".
But this album made me realize what a genius, word smith Dylan really was. Many of the songs on it are the best versions including: Don't Think Twice, Blowing in the Wind, Chimes of Freedom, Hard rain and so forth. This is a MUST have Dylan compilation and it stands as my favorite! |
