| This is an excellent album. The highlights for me include "sex on fire", "manhattan", "revelry", and "notion". Caleb's vocals have never sounded better, and the rest of the band is outstanding here, especially the bassist. Sure they may have "sold out", but with melodies as good as are on display here, who cares? I'm not sure this is their best album though, their previous album "because of the times" is an absolute classic, but nevertheless I recommend any fan of rock music to buy this and you won't be disappointed. ... | Its beautiful. He constantly pushes himself to grow and expand as a person. He doesn't "try" to be something for others, and yet, for this, he is genius. He follows the muse. He is at a great stage in his life. People want him to be doped up and drunk and singing with anger to suit their tastes and make a "statement". This is a mature Ryan Adams and friends. | Honestly, out of all the covers Christmas songs get, I've yet to find anyone as consistant and perfect for the job as miss Amy Grant. My family has kept her christmas CDs in heavy rotation all season long for years it seems, and they always sound fresh, they always bring the warmth and jolly of the time, and the reminder of the nativity.
I would recommend buying all her Christmas albums (i'm not sure how many there are) but if you'd rather hit the highlights then this one definately does the job. There's only a few tracks ... Read More: |

| A Cd this great only comes around a few times a year, and Darius Ruckers CD would rank number one against most of them. This is one of those CD's you can listen to from start to finish without skipping a track. With his smooth vocals and great storytelling, any country fan who wouldn't pick this up would be out of their mind. Take my advice and pick up this GREAT country CD, you will not be disappionted. |

| Seemed like an unlikely pairing when I first heard about this CD, but I like Alison Krause so I gave it a chance. Nice album that improves with repeated listening. Better to mix it with other music though because the chord structure is a little heavy if you just play the CD straight. Alison K's voice is unreal. With that high range, reminds me of a young Baez. Sister Rosetta, Trampled Rose, Gone Gone Gone, and others are really good music. Check it out. |

| I LOVED this CD! I'm a long time Kid Rock fan and while I do enjoy most of his music, this CD is a great demonstration of his bluesie side with a lotta rock mixed in. I'm still not tired of listening to it. If you like Kid Rock, you HAVE to own this CD. |
