| When I first heard David Clayton Thomas and BS&T, I thought what a unique sound and so enjoyable. Years have passed and I lost the album but through the magic of digitation they have returned and I am so glad that they did. This is a compilation of the best. It should be in any collection. |

| The first time I was introduced to Lizz Wright was on the Sunday Morning show's music review. I was mesmerized. Her voice is raw emotion, sultry, and rich in tones. The Orchard is excellent, especially song #4 (Hey Mann) and #12 (Strange). |

| These tracks are the kind of things that remixers do to Seal songs that started out good: house-ify them until they sound better with drugs. I have nothing against a house record, and I think it's brave of him to release a record of straight dance music at this point in his career. It is, unfortunately, sad that he's doing so with such boring, trendy house tracks. Put Seal on almost anything and he can elevate it a little. But this stuff? Ugh.

| When I heard the first "single" on My Space I wasn't sure what to think. It just seemd it was another group jumping on to the Amy Winehouse, Duffy, Saddiq etc. bandwagon. But Jazzanova really brought it...at least for the first 8 songs or so. They managed to infuse a 60's/70's soul sound with their own unique spin making it not a rehash but something fresh. It makes you look forward to Christmas. MY 10 year old granddaughter heard the cd and this is what she wants for Christmas. Need I say more? |

| Being a music lover and an musician, this 2 disc set was too good to pass up. Growing up in the 60's & 70's, I always knew this music was more intricate underneath than it's beautiful heartfelt melodies would imply.
I played in many bands over the past 30+ years and I have been praised by many for my ability to improvise, but I'm glad in my younger days, I wasn't aware of what was going on underneath those Motown soulful vocals...if I had, I may have never touched my bass again!
