| A delightful package of holiday music. To my surprise the theme music from Loretta Young's CHRISTMAS EVE by Johnny Mandel now has lyrics by Alan and Marilyn Bergman. To me it is the highlight of the album. A lush arrangement of ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU.

| This CD was a good idea, but fails because of some songs that just aren't very interesting (St. Elmos's - who wants to hear that again?) And American Idol runner up (it's worst year) Katharine McPhee is less talented than most lounge singers. To hear and watch her sing with Andrea is just awful. It sounds and looks like a master singer is teaching a freshman college student who has big dreams of being a singer. | so the music itself is good...i don't care about the ama's or anything, their morals have nothing to do with the music, same with their fans.
the ALBUM is what matters here. i love the lyrics, and the guitar work is pretty darn awesome for how young they are. the only downside is that this music can be listened to for exactly a week before it gets super annoying. of course, you could do what i did - you can always go back to it in a few months and its okay. overall, a great album ... | I bought deluxe edition. I saw one of her interviews and she stated she recorded over 70 songs for the album. There are only a few songs from both the disks that I like and 2 of the singles are out now. As far as the double discs since she recorded 70 songs or more why werent more songs on each disk. The deluxe edition has 16 songs total and all could have been put on one disc. I expected the SASHA FIERCE side to be stronger with upbeat songs but most of the songs on the SASHA FIERECE side could be on the first disc. Aso in the ... Read More: |

| I'm a great Manilow fan, from Mandy through today. However, since he already sang some of the greatest songs of the 70s and 80s DURING those decades why does he need to feel like he has to sing other persons songs. There are just some things that should be left to the original cover band or singer, and these are the songs. Barry, I love you, but if you have to sing old songs originally intended for someone else don't sing anything later than 1969. |

| I was not expecting a Lucinda Williams disk so soon after 'West' was released. I didn't even know 'Little Honey' was coming until I stumbled across a review in a Sunday paper a few days prior to its release date.
Unlike many, I really liked 'West', save a few songs. I thought it had some unique elements for a Williams disk.
