| I bought the new Jackson Browns album hoping and praying he would just shut up with the "I hate Bush and America has real problems" nonsense. We know..we know Jackson you don't like the president and dont like the politics of America. If we wanted to spend an hour listening to that we would turn on CNN or MSNBC. | What more can I say that hasn't already been said? This is one of the greatest hard rocking albums of all time. AC/DC sounds like they are playing on top of a cliff as lightning is striking in the background. I don't need to say any more. Buy it already. |

| This is an amazing set. I have been listening to the SACD import version (which everyone except amazon seems to know has already been released) which brings a clarity and fidelity to these recordings like nothing before it! It is hard to believe this music is closing in on 40 years old, and in 5.1 surround sounds as fresh as if it had been recorded yesterday. | I've been trying to get some more variety in my music library lately. Being from Washington, I've heard these guys on the radio a lot, so I figured I'd give them a real chance and picked up Narrow Stairs.
My jaw was on the floor the first four songs, and for a few more after that. How have I let Death Cab get by me up until now? | Although they aren't typical "cookie cutter" radio-ready country, the Zac Brown Band suddenly have found themselves with a #1 country hit, "Chicken Fried", a catchy tune with great harmony and fiddle playing. Surprisingly, their album is a mix of a variety of music and is really hard to describe. Think half island/reggae country similar to Kenny Chesney's new music - and half bluegrass country similar to Union Station. Soothing, relaxing, and just great to pop in and chill out...chicken fried comfort music for the soul!

| Keane's new CD "Symmetry" takes the band in a slightly different direction from their previous discs. The beautiful melodies, melancholy atmosphere, and beautiful piano of their earlier CD's are replaced on Symmetry by an 80's-type sound with new wave synthesizers and a more peppy, upbeat feel. The CD really takes me back to MTV of the early 80's. After several listens I can say that I like "Symmetry", especially because it's always such a pleasure to hear Tom Chaplin sing. | Just love the gentle sounds and harmonies of this album...Indie at its best. The blend of musical styles in these songs from folk, to pop to a bit of country at times reminds me of another new artist I have found: Arrica Rose in her new album La La Lost.The more you listen to their music, the more you want to listen. This is music that doesn't get old but rather gets in your head and stays there in a good way.Check them both out.

| With the cure framework beautifully in place this stripped-down, elegantly executed album is the best in many years from this band. Their previous couple of albums had Robert Smith in top artistic form but the density washed out the execution to some extent. Bloodflowers was great but the beauty of a Cure song has always been in its simplicity and top to bottom every song on 4:13 is pure pop goth beautiful.
