| Bought it last week. I must say I am very impressed with this DVD. I am one who has great difficulty in taking time for myself and relaxing. I have a lot of stress which has caused much heartache. My counselor has suggested I try meditation so I got this DVD. That night I used it and was very impressed with the instuctors smooth clear voice. | For what it is, a meditation CD, this is a perfect offering. The lady's voice is incredibly beautiful, the melodies are haunting and uplifting, and the significance behind the words is both meaningful and calming. Though it is definitely repetitious, mantras sung over and over, I have listened to it probably 50 times so far, know the words by heart, can sing the harmonies to her tracks, all levels, and find it lends to repeated hearing. | As always, Sissel excels with her wonderful voice. Never a song that you don't like hearing over and over again. Especially beautiful is her duet with José Carreras in "Quando Sento Che Mi Ami" (can be watched on YouTube). |

| I picked two Christmas CDs this year, just from the little snippets one can hear on the internet. It's 50/50. This was the good one. :) I would recommend this recording to anyone. You can see the names of the songs, so I am vouching for the mood and tone. Quiet is a subjective term; I would just say all the songs are handled with love.
I was not familiar with this artist (not that knowlegeable), but apparently Ms. Adair plays with a trio. You can almost hear the soloist depart the trio as the album ... Read More: |

| I really like this CD. The music was very uplifting and soothing at the same time...I play it for my fetal son every night before bed with headphones that I stick onto my belly. I don't know if it's doing anything, but I can hear it too and it almost puts me to sleep :) |

| This is the first time I have used Singing Bowls to enhance meditation and prayer time. Each selection is about 28 minutes long with some intervals marked with just a "bell". What a gift to not need a watch! The wind chimes that begin each selection help me focus more quickly and the blend of songs and sounds that follow are exquisite. |

| Koyasan is a mountain in Japan, and is the home of the Shingon sect of Japanese Buddhism. There are hundreds of temples in the vicinity, and overall is a beautiful place to visit.
Reiki is a fairly modern invention, also originating in Japan, which explains that there is a limitless life force ("Ki") in the universe that can be controlled with the proper conditioning of the mind and body.
