| I listened to this 3-4 times before I ever heard the end of the CD because I fell sound asleep! I had to make a point of and decision to stay awake to hear it (which I did and finally heard the whole thing and loved it). I have had trouble getting to sleep pretty much all my life so this is pretty amazing. It's just soothing and quite literally 'feels' good. | I paid $25 for this in a retail store, and I regret it. I was looking for a CD that would take me through guided breathing exercises, the way some CDs take you through a guided meditation. I have asthma, and I'm pregnant, and I wanted to focus on better breathing. I'm still not sure if this CD has guided breathing exercises or not, maybe it does. | I recently became aware of this release through Amazon's mailings and investigated it due to my love of Lisa Gerrard's music, after hearing her live on her Silver Tree tour a year or so back. I have over a thousand albums I listen to, and this by far is the most compelling blend of musical sculpting I have heard in a very long time. I can't recall a purchase of music recently where I put it on at every chance I can. It enriches the home and the senses, inspiring and transcending.

| I first heard of this cd when it was first advertised on tv in the 90's but honestly thought nothing of buying it. However in 2001 I happened to spot this cd when I was stationed in Japan and am happy to have spent my money on this cd. Due to the variety of the songs I feel that this cd is good to listen to at work , when you are spending time with your loved ones, and relaxing and nurturing yourself when you are alone. | I suppose I had been expecting a CD of chants and dances -- just raw. Instead, the songs have a new age-type production. But they're nicely done, and I'm happy with the purchase. Still looking for something a little closer to the real thing, though. |
