| In one of those rare moments in life, my mother actually introduced me to George Winston's music when I was in high school. Most of the music I listened to at the time was metal and punk music. George Winston was an antithesis to everything I listened to still his music was very relaxing to listen to. DECEMBER is easily my favorite Winston cd.I like that the music was just George playing the piano. | Summer by George Winston is another stellar effort from the excellent solo pianist. Though this CD can be greatly enjoyed at any time of the year, it is appropriate that, right now, at the beginning Summer this CD can be greatly enjoyed. The songs and sounds here are really outstanding. |

| I play this almost every night as I go to sleep. I rarely get to the end before falling asleep. It seems to me as though it never starts in the same place twice- so it's like a new CD each time. It's not like you're anticipating the same melody over and over. I have several soothing CDs which I have purchased thru Amazon. They are all unique, and I love them all. I find the reviews to be reliable when I am looking to buy more CDs like these. |

| I was first introduced to this group by the brilliant final scene in the movie, "Vanilla Sky," where the main character makes the decision to "jump" back into the real imperfect world from his taintedly-perfectly-fake-dreamworld he had been living in, and track 4 (my favorite) plays as it shows seemingly-misc flashbacks from humanity's past as he bails downwards off of a skyscraper heading like a missle for the concrete below, hell every time I see that scene I break down in tears. | I first caught this film in 1994 on PBS and have loved it ever since. It grabs your attention from the very first notes played by world-renown keyboardist Bradley Joseph and drummer Charlie Adams in the song "Santorini". Every song is highly orchestrated, some upbeat, others soft and mellow, but each one just as jaw-dropping as the last.
