| This CD for me didn't quite make the cut for chakra healing in comparison to other sound therapy and chakra balancing CDs that I own.
Halpern is a well-respected artist in the field with many years of experience and I don't discredit that he has a feel for what he is doing, however, I am disappointed with the musical composition of Chakra Suite. | Our family loves the Windham Hill Winter's Solstice series, and my son says this is his favorite. I don't know if I can choose a favorite, but Barbara Higbie's We Three Kings on this CD is absolutely gorgeous and makes this CD worth purchasing almost by itself. Of course, the other selections are beautiful as well. I recommend this CD without reservation--you will love it. |

| I see that everything this man produces gets rave reviews. But I'm just not feeling it. Sorry. This is my review and I don't get out of it what others appear to. My fifteen year old daughter will listen to this album all evening and she loves it, so does my wife. They never get tired of it.
But to me, much of his music is same old same old. It's like I have been listening to the same rumbling phrases all night and they just go on and on, never changing or getting anywhere. For me Steve Reich does a much better job of this ... Read More: |
