| I purchased this to REPLACE my vinyl and old scratched up CD versions. Yes, I own the original vinyl AND the original CD release. I love the music. I wanted to finally add it to my MP3 collection of which I actually BUY all the music in. Oh, and I don't give copies away like the music companies say we all do......... anyhow, I bought this only to find that it's full of copy protection crap. | Considering the Clear Channel-controlled airwaves of today, it's nice to have a holiday soundtrack that isn't that same ol' batch of songs over and over again. Like almost any compilation, this collection is hit-and-miss, but even the misses are endearing in their own way. My personal recommendations are:

| This is a wonderful compilation of Deva Primal's works on one CD. I have been listening to her music for many years after receiving one of her CD's as a gift. Her sound is so mesmerizing that it truely helps one to attain a state of peace. Great for meditation or just to listen to. |

| I've had the CD for about 2 weeks and am listening to it daily. It is very easy and enjoyable music. I feel like my desire for chocolate and candy has diminished has been eliminated. I will continue to listen and trust that all my cravings for sweets will diminish as well. |

| The first time I listened to this CD, I was hooked. It is so relaxing that I listen to it every day. I bought one for my chiropractor to use in her office w/ patients to help them relax while they enjoy moist heat and wait their turn. I could easily fall asleep! |

| I was excited to receive this cd and took it to a friends house for a weekly meditation group. We ended up turning it off. The sounds on this cd seemed to be more about getting on our nerves than about peace and relaxation. The group didn't care for it. But it seems as though many do find it enjoyable and relaxing. So give it a try if you like, it just wasn't for me. |
