This is a great product. I bought it for my brother for Xmas, as he is a huge classic country music fan.The recordings are very well done especially on the vocal tracks, and these remastered 57 year old recordings sound really fine.I would strongly recommend this anthology to any classic country music or Hank Williams fan as being a "must have". |

| I've heard Charlie Haden in varied contexts for many years - usually jazz, sometimes off-beat projects such as his contributions to Lost in the Stars: The Music of Kurt Weill. But like many others, I had no idea that he grew up in one of those 1930's small town country radio families. It's like learning that Jozef Zawinul is the lost Louvin Brother or that Johnny Cash's band was the Tennessee Three before Dave Brubeck left.

| Finally....a major Rock album & future classic!!! I'm just going to cut to the chase here with all the hullabaloo about how long it took to make this album & yadda yadda yadda & say....Who Cares? It's here now and that's all that matters. People that want to snivel about the past need to understand that a work or art is not predictable & takes as long as it takes period.

| I'm so glad I only paid 1/2 price for this double CD. And maybe that was too much. There are only about 3 cuts in total that are worth listening to. I just expected more from a super star like Beounce. |
