| Natalie Cole continues to be one of my favorite artists. She is an amazing talent, with an amazingly clear voice and pitch, and her choice of material has always been impeccable. | If you want to hear a girl who considers herself as the latin Alanis Morissette meets Bjork but who isn't even near to that, who looks as tomboyish as Miley Cyrus, and who sings with such a drowsy voice as Julieta Venegas does, this cd is the perfect option to waste your money. | While it's true that the vocals are a bit buried in the mix, what I miss the most are a good, solid set of "real" acoustic drums, played by a "real" drummer. That fact alone would have made this album a 4 and a half star for me. Having said that, there are no bad throwaway songs here and some excellent ones to lift it well above average. | At first I thought the parts stronger than the sum. In other words, each song had elements that were captivating both lyrically and melodically but the songs as a whole didn't seem to work. Then at some point after repeated listens, everything started to bake into the cake it was meant to be. Now I can't get the damn thing of out the CD player and consequently out of my head. | I have really enjoyed 'One kind Favor' by BB, one of his best, but can't give it 5 stars. While it is very good, it's not as good as 'Blues on the Bayou', my all time favorite CD by BB. |

I purchased Eric Benet's CD when it first released (I pre-ordered!) on September 9th and I have been listening to it EVERY DAY since then. I tell you, Eric is such an amazing artist. He never ceases to amaze me (not to mention he is my most favorite singer of all time!). The talent this man has is incredible!
