| My kids are 4 and 5 and love to hum 80% of the songs from this CD. They do not even realize that they have learned their even and odd numbers, the concept of zero, and how to add to music. Then there is the DVD. Incredible imagination! |

| This is as generic and bland as rock music can get. This CD is immensely boring. This album basically embodies all the stereotypical radio rock elements you can image.
If you want the monotonous truck-commercial sounding riffs and awful wannabe-Pearl Jam sounding vocals, you have it all in this album. | I'm an adult fan of the Barbie movie and music genre, and have collected Barbie and other fashion dolls for many years, so I'm probably biased where these movies and soundtracks are concerned. However, I have to say that this CD is a letdown, especially after Barbie Sings!: The Princess Movie Song Collection. After a CD with 22 tracks from 4 movies, Diamond Castle follows up with half the tracks and half the appeal for the same price.

| There's no need to give this album an extensive review because it speaks for itself. Jenny Lewis can sing, play music, and also write creatively. Go out and buy this album. The recording is not too slick and it's not cheap sounding at all. Great albums like this remind me of the reasons why I DON'T listen to the radio. |

| I will be honest, this is the first Beck CD I have ever purchased. In the past I would here a track and say to myself, "wow that is so cool". It seemed like a post-modern mish mash, very unique---at first. In reality it was like Doritos...delicious at first, but not sustaining. I am glad there were all those previous recordings, playing with strange musicality (kind of ultra-white boy chic)and wacky lyricism because it leads to this release. | Although I never received this from amazon, I listened to it in other mediums. MGMT has a laid back groove somewhere at the intersection of Scissor Sisters and Phoenix with a dash of Thievery Corporation. Not a bad place to operate and with nary a jarring note. |
