| I ordered this CD with high expectations. On its arrival, I eagerly played it, waiting for the glorious music I'd heard described. I was puzzled as I listened, trying to place the reason for my growing dislike. I loved the voices of the singers, I liked the genre of the songs...but was still left unsatisfied. | Third Day is my favorite band anyway, but I think this album is one of their best! All the songs are very moving, and it has variety to it. It definitely reaches younger fans as well. GREAT JOB GUYS!! |

| I'm not even that big of a country music fan in general, but I've been hooked on Blake Shelton ever since I saw him in concert for the first time after the release of Barn & Grill. Now I've got every one of his albums... they are just so much fun to listen to.
Anyways, Barn & Grill had been my favorite album far and away to this point, but Startin' Fires may have overtaken it. This is a well done, fun album all the way through with catchy tunes that'll make you want to jump up and dance. My favorites ... Read More: |

| I bought this as a replacement to my original. I was so disappointed that after the 3rd time trying to get used to it I threw it into the back seat.
Don't get me wrong, I really like his music. But I'm really stuck on the original versions and I believe I'm getting ripped off when what's on the disk isn't what I expected. They should have put on the cover that the songs were all remakes or refected tracks or whatever. |

| This album was released on compact disc in October of 1990 but it was released on vinyl records sometime between 1969 to 1972. I grew up listening to it most years until I started on my own path. Of course in my younger days the appreciation for Christmas orchestra music was not there. Only rediscovered it on amazon.com in 1994. It's great to play low as background music on Christmas day while opening gifts or while friends and relatives are talking about. | She has some great songs on this album. I bought it for the song "Realize" but the other songs are nice as well. Her sound is evident on this album and if you like "Realize", then you should like the rest of the album. |

| Great Oasis's disc are generally consistent from top to bottom. They also have a great, "can't live without" type single as well. The second LP was chock full of them and the last one had a great one in "Lyla". This CD doesn't have a truly great single type standout track. However, one should not pass this CD up because it is generally strong from top to bottom. The use of tamboura is a nice touch. These guys know how to make strong records and this one is no exception.
