| Fairly routine country music fare, and quite disappointing. Julianne adopts a highly affected southern accent on most songs - it sounds forced and artificial (That Song In My Head, About Life, Hello). It's like you're not hearing Julianne, you're hearing her impression of how a country singer should sound. She would have been better advised to sing using her natural voice. | I bought the new Jackson Browns album hoping and praying he would just shut up with the "I hate Bush and America has real problems" nonsense. We know..we know Jackson you don't like the president and dont like the politics of America. If we wanted to spend an hour listening to that we would turn on CNN or MSNBC. Jackson Browne is one of our greatest songwriters and has made some of the best albums I have ever heard. The ones he fills with obvious political statements are his WORST though. | What more can I say that hasn't already been said? This is one of the greatest hard rocking albums of all time. AC/DC sounds like they are playing on top of a cliff as lightning is striking in the background. I don't need to say any more. Buy it already. |

| I love Kellie Pickler's voice. This CD isn't the best I have ever heard but it is decent. It might be better to just download a couple songs from itunes so it is cheaper.
Best song in my opinion is, "Rocks Instead of Rice". Very funny song. |

| This is an amazing set. I have been listening to the SACD import version (which everyone except amazon seems to know has already been released) which brings a clarity and fidelity to these recordings like nothing before it! It is hard to believe this music is closing in on 40 years old, and in 5.1 surround sounds as fresh as if it had been recorded yesterday. | I won't deny that AC/DC's latest offering, "Black Ice," is nothing more than their standard, straight ahead, gritty, grubby hard rock. But would you expect anything else from these guys? While many hard rock bands that ruled throughout the late 70's/80's modified their sound in an attempt to save their waning careers once the 90's hit, AC/DC was content with sticking to what they did best, which was provide simple, fun hard rock tunes to the masses. It's a formula that's worked well for them so far.

| I've been trying to get some more variety in my music library lately. Being from Washington, I've heard these guys on the radio a lot, so I figured I'd give them a real chance and picked up Narrow Stairs.
My jaw was on the floor the first four songs, and for a few more after that. How have I let Death Cab get by me up until now? Most of the lyrics are well thought out, and Gibbard does a great job setting up an atmosphere with the music.
