| I purchased this disc through Amazon for my wife who loves this guy. I must say we both enjoyed listening to this all season long. My wife is from Mexico and is always looking for good, quality Christmas music in spanish. This exceeded her expectations. |

| I had heard "Limon y Sal", the song, a long time ago and loved it. When I first listened to the CD I was surprised to hear 3 other songs I recognized from the radio. I know very little Spanish, but with the lyrics included, I can sing along. It's fun to listen to with catchy tunes! |

| Quite a good album, traditional to Manu Chao music, with a slight escape into mainstream.
Some songs seem like reworks or versions of the same song done in different ways. Good for listening while riding in a car. It is certainly worth listening to, but if you are not a real Manu Chao dedicated fan you might find it slighlty repetitive. | Most of the music in this album has Cuban based rhythm, done by mostly young musicians. The key here is that this isn't your father's salsa. Represented are the African, Colombian, Cuban, and NY with modern son, salsa, bugaloo, and timba. There are also some hybrid rhythms here like Yerba Buena's cumbia based Burrito and the Los pinguos which sounds like tropical pop with a blend of latin rock/ska and latin pop.

| As an Anglo with only a smattering of Spanish, I was stunned to see Julieta Venegas performing El Presente while channel hopping. As I did further investigation, I found out just how huge Julieta is in the spanish speaking world. I would rank her right up there with Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Dolores O'Riordan and other English-speaking singer songwriters.

| This Disney movie is interesting in that it is virtually plotless. It begins with a couple of cute cartoons about a penguin and then a flying donkey, but later turns into a Latin American travelogue, that evovles into a full-blast, semi-erotic, Mexican, acid trip. And the movie was made some twenty years before the psychodelic sixties! Actually, from what I understand, it was produced as part of of Franklin D. Roosevelt's "Good Neighbor Policy" initiative concerning Latin America.
