| i absolutly loved christina's debut cd, every song on it was good and hearing her sing in spanish on this album was so beautiful. Unfortuntly after this in my opinon christina has went downhill, i absolutly did not like her stripped album, she completly lost her passion in music, stripped was all about sex and complaining about men treating women like objects, well christina if you were smart enough you would know that you don't need to dress and act like a skank in your dirty video to be beautiful ... | Great music, just what I needed for teaching. It is very traditional salsa music. Old school stuff, a little "Old Brazil", but hey, it makes it all the worthwhile to listen too. and as far as teaching, which was the main reason for buying this cd, it has a range of tempos. Great stuff. |

| This is another master recording of the great sound of the Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan in their Golden Era. A lot of Mariachi Groups have tried to recreate the sound, It's impossible to hear them play and not feel anything. |

| I have recently become a big fan of Eliane (already big fan of Diana Krall), purchasing her most recent Bill Evan's tribute album. But back to this album, I absolutely love this album, Eliane's voice is so soothing, her phrasing so fine, even when she sings in her native language, it just carries you along.I tear up every time I listen to "That's All", as it embodies exactly what I would like to say to my special someone. | Like pretty much every other reviewer on here, this album completely changed my my expectations for music. I'd say it's in my top 5 ever, and would even possibly make #1 if I had to choose. There's just a magic on here that is unmatched by anything else that I have heard. I think the influence of Lô Borges is quite heavy on here, because also on my top 5 would have to be his self titled album. I heard Cê for the first time at about 40,000 feet over the Atlantic. The sound quality of the airline provided headphones left a lot to be desired, but what stuck with me most was the hushed drum and Beatles feel of "Minhas lagrimas". I liked what I'd heard enough to buy it upon returning to the US. Now that I've had a chance to hear it with proper sound quality, after just a few spins, it's quickly emerging as Caetano's best.
