| I've had this since it came out but after spinning it this morning I was reminded of just how great it was and how deserving of a great review this release is.
These US released Traffic remasters from 2002 are stunning, and hearing this album again this morning reminded me of how truly enjoyable it is to hear a modern remaster that hasn't been squashed with compression. | It is a fun and cheerful album. It was a departure from the Latin music songs used to more pop and contemprary songs. Apparently it worked, because sales of Alpert and Tijuana Brass took off.
Many of the songs on the album were featured on the popular ABC show The Dating Game. | In the telling, Traffic was this great band with two front-men, Steve Winwood and Dave Mason, which fell apart over egos and ambition and then reformed, without Mason, after Winwood's Blind Faith excursion crashed and burned.

| I love the duet concept records and I am a big k.d. Lang fan and when I heard this record was coming out I was very excited. A wonderful combination of voices singing classics, and the title track makes this record perfect. I was not a big Tony Bennett fan beforehand, but became one because of this. |

| OK, first off, I would never have purchasd thid DVD were it not for my wife. She'd seen some of it on one of the cable channels and raved how good it was. I got it for her on a whim.
As it turns out, this two-CD concert is great! It opens with Chcago and Towner of Power, two horn-driven bands, playing several songs together. | First of all, I was blown away by the recording. The ambience of the audience only adds to the feeling that you are right there, front row, listening, watching three guys ripping it. This is truly one of the best live recordings I have heard, jazz or otherwise. The reperoire between the musicians seems almost telepathic, but the audience doesnt really appreciate the specialness of what they are hearing. They had no idea that less than a month later Scott Lefaro would be tragically killed in an auto accident.
