| I'm usually not too keen on Jazz Christmas albums but I heard one track from this CD (Santa Claus is Coming to Town) on an episode of House and was completely taken by it. On most jazz recordings you can have a hard time finding the original melody (and that does occur on this CD) but the musicianship is so good that I tended to overlook that aspect of the recording. I like my Christmas music to sound traditional but this CD will definitely get a spot on my playlist for next Christmas.

| I suspect some folks are buying this album for the Raymond Scott tunes. If so, please, please, consider buying the original. Byron's effort is respectable, but he somehow manages to suck the life out of Scott's tunes. With few exceptions, they sound as though they are being played by sedated musicians who just want to get it in the can and move on. If you can tolerate the decreased production quality of the original, you'll get a lot more music, I assure you.

| What a great recording! When I got this, a couple of months ago when it first came out, I almost cried when I played it. It was so like another favorite of mine, the Bill Evans Trio with Symphony Orchestra recording. Finally. Danilo's playing and Ogerman's arranging/conducting are superb. This is not to be missed. | This was the first Steve Tyrell CD that I've ever purchased and I was NOT disappointed! I prefer the more nontraditional Christmas songs, but Steve Tyrell's unique, gravely voice lent such a newness to even the traditional Christmas songs on the album, that I could play them over and over without tiring of hearing them. And the nontraditonal cuts on the album were superb! "This Time of Year" and "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?" particularly standout. It's guaranteed that I will be sampling and buying more of his CDs. |

| BILL COSBY: HIMSELF is easily one of the funniest things I've ever heard. Even after having heard it (and seen it) so many times as to have various excerpts memorized, it's still hilarious! As far as Bill Cosby comedy is concerned, the only thing funnier than this CD is watching the DVD.

| Mark Farina has done it again. Smooth Music with a bumping beat and vocals thrown it to add to the rhythm. If you are not a fan of Mark Farina and Mushroom jazz you should be. I could go on, but I'll keep it short and sweet. Buy this recording. You will not be disappointed. |

| I LOVE it! I had heard one of the songs, Sleigh Ride, on the local radio station and decided to look it up. I only wish I could have gotten the album before Christmas so I could have listened to it more. Most of the songs are instrumentals and are easy to listen to while working or relaxing. It is going on my shelf with my other Christmas favorites: Manheim Steamroller Christmas, Fresh Aire, and Joyfull Stings. |
