| I love this Christmas compilation. You get real value for your money here. Twenty songs on one cd! The band's version of The Nutcracker Suite is worth the price of the cd alone. Angels We Have Heard On High is another highlight which mixes a sort of surf guitar sound with fantastic horns and a choir on the chorus. Ann-Margret duets with Brian on Baby It's Cold Outside. | JJ Grey and Mofro have really put together a great album. Nearly every track takes me back to outside of the West side of Jacksonville. Few artists reflect the proud heritage of North Florida like these guys. Well worth the listen. |

| The first time I was introduced to Lizz Wright was on the Sunday Morning show's music review. I was mesmerized. Her voice is raw emotion, sultry, and rich in tones. The Orchard is excellent, especially song #4 (Hey Mann) and #12 (Strange). |

but did not have the time to listen to it until last night. I had really looked forward to this historic recording, as I have heard some of the 'tracks' before. A great live musical perfomance by renown and legendary musical genius. But every track- except one- has a 'dropoff' or 'cutout' of the audio at the very end. | When I heard the first "single" on My Space I wasn't sure what to think. It just seemd it was another group jumping on to the Amy Winehouse, Duffy, Saddiq etc. bandwagon. But Jazzanova really brought it...at least for the first 8 songs or so. They managed to infuse a 60's/70's soul sound with their own unique spin making it not a rehash but something fresh. | I was at Sierra Nevada Brewing in the Big Room for night one of Tommy's stint there. The performance was everything anyone could ask for....the room crackled with energy. The venue is intimate (around 350 people), acoustically incredible and there's truly not a bad seat in the house. I consider it one of the highlights of my life to have seen this stellar musician live. This DVD definitely does not disappoint! Many thanks to Bob Littell and his great crew and staff for a wonderful evening of music and this heritage keepsake. |
