| I am a big, bif fan of Urban Hymns and was so excited to see a new release from the Verve. Just brilliant work again from these guys. If you are a Verve fan you must get this! Just love the mix of guitars, strings and piano on the songs. It is different from other Verve albums but I recommend it highly. |

| This is an exceptionally well put together album. The title song, Primavera anticipada bounces forward enthusiastically. The final track, Hermana tierra, has the best of what you'd expect in a song for Sister (!) Earth, a little bit new age without becoming hokey. The angry Mis beneficios could be plunked in the middle of a rock opera where the heroine throws her no-good boyfriend out on his ear, while the equally cross La impresión starts out soft and sad, winds up into a rock anthem before reverting to the soft, ... | Jem's first album, Finally Woken, was excellent, but it took a long time for this follow-on to come out. It's a good album with a little wider variety of songs than her first one. "It's Amazing", the Sex and the City song, is the best one here, but aside from the awful "Aciiid!", all the others are good ones. If you liked Finally Woken or It's Amazing and are wondering whether to take the plunge on this album, it's definitely worth it. |

| I first heard some of this music in the 1960's when I was still living in England and my best friend had gone to South Africa for a year. She sent me a single with 'The Click Song' on it, because of apartheid she wasn't supposed to do that. I'm glad she did because Miriam Makeba has a beautiful crystal-like voice which moves me to this day. I don't understand any of the words, but manage to sing along anyway! This is a happy, uplifting CD, certainly worth owning. |

| For the longest time if you were a Zeppelin fan this was your only chance to catch a glimpse of them live, and even then you had to wait to see it at a midnight movie.
