| Is Born in the U.S.A. too commercial? A sellout? No way! If you remember the 1980s like I do, the songs from Born in the U.S.A. (1984) were like lifelines to authentic rock n' roll on the radio for us die hard 1960-70s rockers. Sure, the album had an updated sound that now sort of makes it a product of it's times, but that's one of the things that makes this album so special. | I absolutely love Tool but I somewhat regret buying this LP. The light weight of the vinyl leaves me unsatisfied. Also, the labels look like they were applied by a three year old. The labels were sloppily pressed into the record, cut/torn and don't even feature any artwork (a little boring to look at). |

| The Snakes & Arrows tour was different from the other recent Rush tours in that instead of being a night of Rush Greatest Hits, it actually promoted their latest album, Snakes & Arrows. And a good album it is. This cd does an excellent job of capturing this awesome tour, and as far as performances and sound quality are concerned, this cd is my favorite.

| The music of Queen is legendary and the untimely death of Freddie Mercury was an end to a great life and great music. Sadly, it has been difficult to get a full cohesive collection of all the best music Queen made due to copywriting issues etc. There is no collection out there that will satisfy everyone but this one is the most inclusive and has most of the major hits. It would be awesome to have a collection with the hits plus the best of the album tracks but for now this collection is the best I've found.

| This is a totally awesome CD - if, for some reason you don't have any Foreigner CDs this one would be the one to purchase since it has almost all of their big hits on it (the exceptions being "Soul Doctor" and "Rev on the Red Line") which happen to be two big favorites of mine. I'm usually quite picky when it comes to a band reforming and going back on the road (especially when the orginal lead singer is missing) but Kelly Hansen seems to have slid right in and picked up where Lou Gramm left off and made Foreigner as good if not better. ... | I have loved Blackmore's Night ever since I first heard them a few years ago. Candice has an amazing voice, Ritchie is a musical genius and combined with the rest of the ensemble they have a great band. And this latest release is another notch on their belt with a great album.
But if you like to have CD's then rip them to your MP3 player, be warned! It plays flawlessly on a CD player, but it is all scratchy on a computer. Any computer that this has been on sounds like an old overplayed LP. I thought importing it would clean it ... Read More: |

| While you can get a few of the tracks from LAYLA on "Best Of" albums of Clapton classics, this album contains a host of lesser-known gems, such as "Anyday" and "Why Does Love Got to Be so Sad" -- and that last one has got to be the most up-tempo sad love song in history. I've owned LAYLA since the original vinyl release back, like, a million years ago. As music technology advances, I keep on buying it in every new format, because even though the tech changes, this album is always fresh. |
