| Miriam Makeba was- is an amazing singer but this collection falls short. I would advise older original recording like: Africa, Pata Pata, even Live from Paris. You won't regret it. |

| If you like Sheryl Crow, this is a fine performance recorded for the PBS Sound Stage series. A superb selection of songs performed in front of a very intimate (and very lucky) crowd. The picture and sound quality on this release truly shine and make for a great demo disc if you want to show off that new home theater system with the bitchin' HDTV. It looks and sounds as if you're in the audience with the best seat in the house. Highly recommended. |

| Very soothing female singer-songwriter material... Alison Sudol plays a Tori Amos-styled piano, but in decidedly less bizarre fashion... pity she isn't given as much attention as Sara Bareilles or Colbie Caillat, when she's just as talented. |

| I first heard some of this music in the 1960's when I was still living in England and my best friend had gone to South Africa for a year. She sent me a single with 'The Click Song' on it, because of apartheid she wasn't supposed to do that. I'm glad she did because Miriam Makeba has a beautiful crystal-like voice which moves me to this day. I don't understand any of the words, but manage to sing along anyway! This is a happy, uplifting CD, certainly worth owning. |

| More of same - luckily I like Norah Jones. I wish she'd branch out and explore different musical styles...perhaps more serious collaborations with other equally talented musicians. I'd love to be actually listenting to her rather than just having her as pleasant background music. She could do more, but I'm happy to add this latest to my collection. |

| Some Amazon Reviewers say that the original hit versions are found elsewhere. Single versions, album versions, what do I know? I see that Donovan wrote every single song on this collection, and although he may have been looking back to "Atlantis", he was looking forward to "Zeppelin". Also to Bon Jovi? (Could "Blaze Of Glory" be a tribute to Mr. DL?). To Mark Bolan and T-Rex? That one goes without saying.
