| This is a rare combination of quality and quantity. There are a lot of good songs, mostly because GL wrote and performed so well. Obviousy it is still a small fraction of the songs that he wrote in total, but I like the ones they included. Just from listening, the recordings all seem to be in a studio, so the quality is good. |

| Ever since I saw them open up for Martina McBride in Pittsburgh in '06, I've been a big fan of LBT. I admit I was sceptical when the new cd came out (they had a tough act to follow), but after a few listens, I can't get it out of my cd player. I've never heard a group where it doesn't matter who lead sings, the song sounds great. And their harmonizing is so great, that each song is amazing. I highly recommend this cd to anyone who likes their previous work. |

| It was with "Freewheelin'", his second album, that Bob Dylan established himself as a great songwriter. Featured are all-time classics like "Blowin' In The Wind", "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall" and "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright". But some lesser known gems, such as "Bob Dylan's Dream", are also included. "Masters Of War" is at an anti-war song with Dylan at his most venomous and "Girl From The North Country" is one of his most beautiful romantic ballads.

| Got this cd based on the song Hallelujah and everyone giving it such great reviews. Let me just say I am completely disappointed. I listened to it twice to give it the benefit of the doubt and found there are are only 2 or 3 songs I would ever wanna hear on this album ever again. |

| I am not implying with this review that this CD sounds like a hangover-it doesn't. This is actually one of only two John Mellencamp albums I purchased (the other is the wonderful The Lonesome Jubilee) and the other reviews here already explain how different this is from an album like that so I won't go into it again-why preach to the converted?Anyway yes this isn't exactly the happy singalong kind of rock tunes of Mellencamp's fast. | Amos Lee is fabulous. He has the most soulful voice, great lyrics, a wonderful band, and is not bad to look at either!!
I recently saw him in concert at Workplay, and he was amazing. The entire audience was mesmerized. Every song on this CD, as well a his other releases, is either a 4 or a 5 star song. I have all his releases on my ipod, and have not found one song that I don't like. Soulful, romantic, beautiful, lovely voice, and lovely man! |

| Being that I am a huge fan of this man my review may be a little bias. James Morrison is definetly one of the greats in making. This album is not too deviated from the style of his first album a lot soulful heart felt melodies. It almost seems like part 2 or a continuation of the first album. So if you liked his first album then you are sure to enjoy Songs for You, Thruths for Me. |
