| There are some truly haunting performances here, and some funny ones, and some of everything, really. This stuff is so far deeper and weirder and spookier than any folk I've ever heard. It's the motherlode; Harry Smith wandered around and got these recordings before radio started, and thus we get true folk music, passed down the generations and from that area, or from the motherland of the musicians, with the spirit of the New World.

| This wonderful CD brought back memories of the Peter, Paul & Mary Christmas concert on PBS years ago. The sound quality is very good - my husband, a real music buff, had never heard it before and was impressed. |

| I discovered Meiko when a friend from myspace put her song on his page. Then I saw her on [...] and recognized her song on a tv commercial. I loved the "Boys With Girlfriends" song so I bought the CD. I like every track on it, which is so rare. There is usually only two or three good ones. The "Piano Song" is fun and quirky with some funny things going on in the background. "Said and Done" is great, such a sad song for anyone that ever experienced a broken relationship. | Our children grew up listening to the close harmonies of Peter, Paul and Mary. This album has our favorites: The Marvelous Toy, and Puff (The Magic Dragon) My husband recently died and our children asked for The Marvelous Toy at his funeral; fortunately we have an old songbook, and my husband's guitar, so our nephew and his friend were able to sing this song for our kids. I realized, watching my son's tears, that the songs of Peter, Paul and Mary have worked their magic for us. |

| Well, if you don't have this do yourself a favour and buy it. The package is great with great photos from the show.
As for Dylan, he is in high spirits and most possibly stoned out of his mind as he laughs, shares jokes, forgets lyrics... He is also delivering all songs passionately making this one concert a very special indeed. A mere three months later he was recording Bringing It All Back Home and by doing so he was also a new Dylan. |

| Sometimes it's difficult to rate a genre of music that I don't normally listen to. But be rest assured, the quality of musicianship on Strange Weirdos is unmatched. I heard "You Can't Fail Me Now" on the radio before I even saw Knocked Up. For me, this is the flagship piece in the album. Patrick Warren's subtle string arrangement at the bridge is so gorgeous that I rushed out to buy the cd.
