| I totally respect YoYo Ma but this CD was a little disappointing because all the tunes were more like jaz and improv than nice tight blue grass and Appalachian fiddle tunes. One reel was nice but they all had a slow dirge quality that disappointed me. |

| i have about 20 bluegrass xmas CDs, many are wonderful, but this may be the pick of the litter. The 10 songs here are witty, fun, simple without being slight. Kinda like how Xmas should sound. |

| Beth Rowley's "Little Dreamer" is a varied set, distinct because of her lovely vocals. The traditional opener "Nobody's Fault But Mine" is a bluesy dirge that works well. Bob Dylan's classic "I Shall Be Released" is given a reggae beat with Rowley's vocals seeming wistful. "Only One Cloud" hangs on a simple refrain, "The weather man said it could change, but it looks like the dark cloud is here to stay." | I've read some very well thought out and critical comments for other albums on here that speak of the artists talents, shortcomings, etc. This isn't one of those, mine is all about emotion. Listening to this album is almost a rapturous experience for me. This music, the voice, the lyrics...they reach so very deep into me and stir otherwise sleeping feelings of love, desire, fear, loss and the unique pleasure of merciful solitude. |

| I LOVE celtic music, and hearing this CD takes me to another place entirely. I've never been to Ireland, but I can just feel and hear the atmosphere of the old pubs in the drinking songs, and smell the damp fields in others. My favorite, of course, is "The Unicorn", a true classic. The remaster is totally amazing! |

| Was lucky to get tickets for there Palm Springs, CA concert and also purchesed the cd "The Bells of Dublin" it is now a regular holiday habbit that we listen to it always.
