| There's little one can say about Miriam Makeba to those who don't have the privilege of knowing her. You have to listen first. I consider myself twice as fortunate, as I was a small boy when her songs started to play on the radio in Brazil. This album in particular has a long story with me, but to make it short, I'd say that if you like the vibe and charm of real African music, it's a must. |

| I heard these guys for the first time on NPR's Prairie Home Companion. Their rendition of "Wagon Wheel," the last track on this disc, was the perfect tune to be listening to, while riding down the road towards home. The disc as a whole is nearly perfect. Balanced, bluegrass harmonies and skillful musicianship blend to create a disc that I have listened to hundreds of times, never growing tired.

Go back to piano...go back to what you do best. This is simply an awful album compared to Indiana. |

| I haven't liked the last couple of Dylan releases. I know the critics loved them--some of his best reviews ever---but...don't they sound different? The structures are predictable -I am not sure where the lyrics come from but most songs sound very odd to my seasoned "Dylan Ear". But this recording feels like Dylan. His voice isn't as postured and the band sounds relaxed. The first disc is Dylan at his best and the second has it's moments but... The slow blues numbers are classic and the band shines. | I was very pleased with this video. Watching her captivate the audience over the course of each concert was exciting, as they clearly were not aware of what they were in for. The songs are wonderful and the mix is great as well. |

| This album has staying power, is a thinking-person's album, sounds great, has terrific lyrics, is well thought out, and basically makes everything else I listen to sound downright crappy. Buy it and listen the heck outta it. I listen to all genres of rock. There is simply nothing better than this album. BTW if you don't like country music, which I don't, you will still like this album. |

| This is a really great addition to the Bootleg series..all songs are from his more recent albums and there is, in some instances,more than one version of the original. I can listen to "Mississippi" practically all day, and now I have 3 versions of it.
Dylan's new songs seem adapted to his "new" voice...just perfect. |

| I love Gavin Degaw's music! His voice is passionate and penetrating. I think Mr. Degraw is one of the most talented artists out there. It would be quite easy to be over critical of this CD. It does have more pop undertones that Chariot. However, the overall sound is GREAT! My favorites are In Love with a Girl, I Have You to Thank, Let it Go and We Belong Together. How many of us writing reviews could churn out 12 songs for a CD? I will be a fan...Forever! |
