| Bought this CD as USED but it looks and sounds as good as new. This music is haunting, beautiful, or charming...depending on the specific tune. This is really pre-country / bluegrass classical folk stuff. You will either understand its origins and love it, or think it is stupid. |

| This record is a great set of songs sung beautifully by the wonderful singer Alison Krauss. I discovered Alison Krauss when I bought last year's release "Raising Sand", the album of duets with Led Zeppelin's lead singer Robert Plant. The purity and tone of Alison's voice on that record made me curious to hear her other work and this is a great example. She plays a mean fiddle too! I actually prefer this record to Raising Sand. | Geat Music if you are a CCR Fan and if you aren't, You will be by the time you finish listening. CCR had a Very distint sound and some great music came out of that sound.
Other reviewers have done a much better job of reviewing this CD set, So there's no need to repeat what's already been said. It's a Great collection that can't be beat. |

| Kasey Chambers is one of my favorite alternative artists.
Her raspy little girl voice is between Concrete Blond and Joan Osbourne. With a country flavor. This particualar CD with Shane Nicholson's - is just a little too country for my tastes. It's my least favorite of her catalogue to date. I'd recommend one her earlier efforts to anyone wanting to check out her sound ie: the Captain or Barricades & Brickwalls. |
