| The first time I sampled this, I thought it was a bit 'corny' but I still bought it because of the very many recommendations it received.
I did not regret my decision because after hearing the whole album with my kids, I was just delighted to see them respond to each song so well so much so that after a few days of listening to it, they can already sing the lyrics. | This recording is sublime; Renee Flemings interpretation is outstanding and her German totally understandable. I've ripped this CD to my computer, downloaded to my MP3 player so I can listen as I'm Nordic walking and have a CD in my car!!! |

| CHANT arrived in good condition ahead of the promised delivery date and for a bargain price. The singing is well done. However, I never recognized one selection of the ultra long list of chants that are a radical departure from Kyrie Eleison and Magnificat anima mea. I played it while in bed and drifted off to sleep even after being kinda disappointed in the selections. This is not saying YOU won't be transfixed and inspired by the rhythm, melodies, and selections chosen by the totally-dedicated monks. |
