| Was flipping through a page for Bruce Dickinson's solo albums and I found this in the "related" section, so I had to drop in here quickly and give my two cents.
Anyways, when I first heard this album, it was my first Waits album, and it was very different! Yet I inevitably loved it, his voice was very unique and easy on the ears. | The new disc of old classic Feat tunes helped me remeber why I fell in love with the band in the first place. With musicians such as Inara George, Brooks and Dunn, Jimmy Buffet and Bela Fleck adding their musical talents to the mix, the disc was consistently tasty from the first track to the last.I would tell any audiophile to put this disc on their "must play" list, and I would love to see some or all of the contributers on tour with the band at a location near me soon. |

| There are a few nay-sayers among the reviews of this album, and to them I say:
This album is billed as the 30th Anniversary Edition. That's "edition", not re-release. The word strongly implies "somehow different" and this album is definitely different. The only reason to buy it, in my opinion, is to upgrade your historical collection of "Dark Side" to the newest and dramatically improved technology, and perhaps to hear a different opinion on how the mixdown should be done. | I purchased this LP even though I own the digital version via iTunes. This LP certainly does sound different. It sounds, as most people would describe, warmer than the digital version. It's also a lot more fun to play since it takes manual work to enjoy. The LP has excellent information on the jacket (lyrics, photos) and is in brand new condition. All in all, I'm glad I purchased the LP version since I will probably listen to it a lot more this way than from iTunes. It was a good purchase. |

| Nice packaging job but a bit overblown. The
new DVD with two songs and the best Interviews I've seen the 'Tricksters do in years. Better package than the 'Tricksters did with the '04 LIVE/Interview disks for that Japan trip which was for the 25th year Concert. Three disks is one too many and another DVD with a whole '08 concert would have been better, but still very good! Hopefully another 10 years to go, eh guys? |

| purchased this in vinyl format when at first release. Saw the show at Madision Sq Garden both nights, "Song Remains the Same". If you love Led Zepplin then the remastered version is one for your collection. I'm glad Jimmy Page gave his blessing on the remix. Well done all around..... |
