| For those of you out there who think that John Paul Jones was the most talented member of the Zeppelin - and yes, I am one of those people - you need to listen to this album as fast as possible. The bass playing here is his best ever, I think. I'd hesitate to call the album brilliant, but it's pretty close. I want to say this is my second favorite Zeppelin album after Houses of the Holy, but as I've said in previous reviews, Zeppelin's first four albums are all more or less equally good.

| Meddle is the album that transitions from the early Syd Barret days to the sound most people know from "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Wish You Were here"
As A huge fan of Floyd, and only 26 years old, I can easily see that this is an amazing musical performance regardless of the "Pink Floyd" name. Haunting the then future Dark Side of the Moon sound, but still exploring the experimental "psychedelic" ( a watery classification) sound that was early PF. | As someone who loves the Beatles I looked forward to receiving this. I enjoy it, the only issue is that some of the songs are like out-takes, etc from recording sessions.
Not that it is bad, but with some of the tunes, I just want to hear the song as I recall them. No reflection on the seller or product, I just didn't read what it was. |

| I've had this since it came out but after spinning it this morning I was reminded of just how great it was and how deserving of a great review this release is.
These US released Traffic remasters from 2002 are stunning, and hearing this album again this morning reminded me of how truly enjoyable it is to hear a modern remaster that hasn't been squashed with compression. | About a month ago, I saw this on sale on a shelf, promptly bought it, and listened to it regularly ever since. Cat Stevens (now Yusaf Islam) has remarkable talent. "Morning Has Broken" reawakens fond memories of Sunday mornings at Church in the 70s, breakfast afterwards, and play time the rest of the day. "Wide World", possibly my first bike ride.
