| I purchased this without hearing first based on a review in The Absolute Sound magazine. I do not like it at all. I know the Blind Boys have recorded some nice stuff in the past so I took a chance with this. This is not my taste at all. |

| I bought this CD soley for Mr. Ortega's outstanding arrangement of "Give Me Jesus". As a church choir member in a progressive Catholic Church that includes a variety of liturgical music, we use a more traditional arrangement of "Give Me Jesus". After hearing Mr. Ortega on a Billy Graham special, I wanted my choir director to hear this more contemplative version of the old spiritual. | This is a moving and wonderful collection of songs, the last work of such a fine talent. I've played this umpteen times and it's worth every penny. Sensational recordings, and if you liked the American sessions with Rick Rubin, you'll love this.

| Stellar Kart is an interesting Rock-Punk band. The mid 2000's has seen fellow rockers Hawk Nelson, Eleventyseven and The Rocket Summer emerge in an attempt to appeal to the wide success of influencer Relient K. Clearly Stellar Kart and Hawk Nelson are still striving to improve and although the songs are ear candy, they don't really challenge you like their great influencer. However, if you liked Relient K's first three albums before their breakout success MmHmm, then you should enjoy Expect The Impossible.

| This record is definitely an improvement over Pressure the Hinges, which sounded too much like what you hear on rock radio. The vocals are more brutal, and Stephen Keech does a good job of balancing gutteral screams with clean singing vocals. All I want to convey is for anybody who wrote HtD off after PtH, give them another spin with this one. While it's not the same band as when Jimmy Ryan was howling into the mic, I actually think that some of the tracks on this record exhibit their best musically to date. Check out the song ...
