| Hi - I am an Aussie bloke who saw the film with my girl last night and I loved it and thought it was an ok movie.
There is a piece of music in the film where they are enjoying a BBQ on the pier. An old man starts to sing with a fiddle (violin) playing as his musical backup. Is this piece of music on the original soundtrack and if not, does anybody know what it is and where I can buy it? It was just fabulous. | When one thinks of the classic blues tune "Dust My Broom" one tends to think of the legendary Robert Johnson who along with his "Sweet Home, Chicago" created two of the signature blues songs of the pre-World War II period. | As my title says, I consider this box set an overview...all in good reason, though. As a guitarist myself that has never really known where to begin when dealing with Jazz guitar, this set which was actually a gift was the absolute perfect place to start. It is the greatest open-door into the Jazz guitar world. I certainly wouldn't advise anyone to drop-anchor here though. It would be doing the people who put this box-set together a disservice. | I definitely recommend the CD... great music but the seller make sure they are 100% clear with you. It has one scratch on it so it skips on one song. Although i did not pay much, i still would have liked to receive a CD that plays properly! |

| This album simply cannot be beat. You get some of the greatest songs from one of the all-time great post-war bluesmen, Chester Burnett, a.k.a. Howlin' Wolf. If BB King is a fine wine, Howlin' Wolf is a shot of strong scotch. The CD starts out with Moaning at Midnight, a song which will send chills up your spine the first time you hear it....if anyone can be said to have an inimitable voice, it can be said of Chester Burnett.
