| Didn't get excited about Magic Slim & the Teardrops the first time I heard them. Big, greasy Willie Johnson guitar work, Jimmy Reed slurred vocals, same fatback backbeat drums, nothing special about the setlist. Didn't get excited about Magic Slim & the Teardrops the second time I heard them, either, and so on and so forth through a lot of years to the present.

| I was pretty J L Hooker stupid when I bought this. I only bought it to have a copy of 'Boom Boom'. But this is pretty good stuff. The guy who is mainly into hard rock and heavy metal is finding this very good. There are a lot of good songs encompassing his career. If you are just beginning to delve into the blues, pick this up. |

| I finally understand the fuzz about Duane. I have only occasionally heard his guitar playing on different albums - but never owned an album myself. I have 300+ blues albums with all of the greats Howlin, Muddy, Buddy, the Kings, T-Bone among many others. I feel so bad for never really digging into Duane until now. He's playing is fantastic and this album is a sure treat. I am happy happy happy :o) |

| I pick this up the day before Christmas because I had gotten sick of "standard" Christmas music. I really enjoyed BB (as I usually do) and I liked the selections. My wife is not a big blues fan but even she remarked about how much she enjoy this set. This was definitely worth buying! |
