| I can't believe I'm just now finding out about this super-talented guitar player and his band. This guy is fantastic with ear-catching chops that are also super-melodic. He's got tremendous feel, probably one of the best guitar players I've ever heard.
The whole album is very listener-friendly, energetic yet easy going. It's bluesy and really funky. Great keyboards too. In fact, the singing, the drumming and everything else here is first rate. |

| This album has a collection of the blues' genius with other great talents; and lovely performances with Norah Jones, James Taylor, Willie Nelson, B.B. King, Van Morrison. My favorites are: "sorry seems to be the hardest word" with Elton John, and" Do I ever cross your mind" with Bonnie Raitt.
A great album that can only be enhanced by listening to another wonderful collection: Ray Charles & friends |

| As a fan of the Tuareg group "Tinariwen', I couldn't resist buying this CD when I saw that another famous native of their region hooked up with Ry Cooder. If you've ever listened to Ry's soundtrack works or his wonderful stuff on 'A Meeting by the River' or "The Buena Vista Social Club' then you'll know why he is such a great match for a veteran like Mr. Toure. Ry's son , Joachim, is a good addition with his drum work too!

| I lived the 90's, this is the BEST and FEW ( IF any ), albums made that a FAMILY ( kids and adults ) could listen to. This is the best album of the 90's. BB KING is 10 times better now then in the 50's. And the work he is putting out is 10 times better then any-band on earth. WHY, don't no. The man tries. Other bands and singers......just don't care. You don't have to like BLUES, to love this album. THAT's BB KING's SECRET. |
