| A nice journey this album is. Great tracks from start to finish, with maybe a couple that are less than favorites. Wonderful production and "mundane" lyrics that are easily beautiful. Great stuff!

| I had never heard of Ray LaMontagne before Amazon's recommendation engine pointed out to me that people frequently bought Martin Sexton's "Solo" along with "Gossip in the Grain." I'm a huge fan of Martin Sexton since about a year ago, and looking for more amazing folk/rock music to experience.

| I have been a fan of Sarah McLachlan for a long time now. I first discovered her back in the very early '90s with her first two albums TOUCH and SOLACE prior to her meteoric rise in pop music. | Byrne has always appealed to my Asperger's side. I might have been the only 12 year old who bought "Stop Making Sense" and "Little Creatures" and wanted more. In doing this review, I am going to stick to just Byrne's lyrical albums as a comparison and avoid his instrumental works.
As others have noted here, "Everything That Happens Will Happen Today" is one of Byrne's finest albums. | I wasn't expecting this album to go in the direction they did, as it sounds significantly different than Extreme Behavior. That being said, surprisingly I really like it. Their innovations and different direction are in better taste and by far more appealing than some of the same style contemporary artists' new albums (ie..Nickelback). Worth the money. Look forward to the next one. |
