| The Black Keys have ventured far from their break-out album The Big Come Up, and while some of the songs still rock, most of the album sounds over-produced. The gritty, wailing guitar sound that makes the The Black Keys so great seems to have taken a haitus. But, all that said, tracks 1 and 2 seems to be a step in the right direction, hopefully they'll see that for their next album. |

| Worth the price to just have the Randy Newman tune from Toy Story 2 'When She Loved Me', and 'Rainbow Connection'...
It's when Mclachlan tries to impress that you feel kind of embarrassed for an artist of her stature, like the awful 'Just Like Me' with Run DMC... at least her collaborations with Cyndi Lauper and Emmylou Harris work... | As others have stated, this is a very good CD from beginning to end. If you are a fan of the song "Sometime Around Midnight", you'll enjoy other tracks as well. For me, I was instantly drawn into "Sometime Around Midnight" the first time I heard it on the radio... I loved the lead singer's voice and the fact there is no chorus. Many of the other songs highlight both of these characteristics as well. Two of my favorites include "Wishing Well" and "Missy"

| Awesome Todd Snider, I have been listening to Todd since about day one, and have seen him in concert a few times, i love his music, but on occasion have been disappointed a little in his published efforts, not this on though, I must have listened to it 10 times in a row before I moved on. It is great, it is also one of those albums that benifits from listening to the entire album, straight through, in the order it was intended. | I am a huge fan of Evanesence and I stumbled upon this band. They are a definite rock band with a Christian twist but anyone can enjoy it. Cassie is probably the most religious of all the songs (talking about the girl at Columbine who answered "yes" if she believed in God so the shooters killed her). This is a great band and the singer reminds me of Amy Lee, except minus some of the lung power. I love most of the songs on here such as "All Around Me", "I'm sorry", "I'm so sick", and "Cassie". | Per the title, this was everything I expected, but I was really hoping for a few surprises.. I think the most enjoyable part of the whole set was the booklet that came with it, it had a history of Nirvana and I learned a few new things about the band. I pretty much bought it because 1) It was on sale and 2) I got my first car in 10 years that had a CD player in it.
I think anyone that actually buys it will think it's well worth it. If it wasn't for the booklet though, I probably would have given it 3 stars. I don't know why I didn't enjoy it more ... Read More: |

| Cyndi Lauper was an icon of 1980's MTV generation hooray of fake importance. "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", written by Robert Hazard as a wry comment on sexual mores was uptossed upturned and confetti celebrated as an anthem for pre-adolecent girls wanting to wear colorful clothes and kinda rebel at the same time.

| The one time my friend and I caught his live show, we were put through hours or boring chat from Mr. Mraz. People come to hear you sing Jason, not jabber on muchadoaboutnothing. I'm not sure if he was drunk, or other, but his sets were boring and it made me realize so is his music. Good voice, but learn to take it more seriously. |
