| They clearly sound like Nickleback and this is the first time I ever heard them.They sound related throw in a little puddle of mud and seether.I think of them the same as Nickleback they can make some good stuff but the girly songs like Not Meant To Be if they both didnt make crap like this I'd like them both much more.I understand they both make music for females but that doesn't make it good.I know both bands can make more meaner stuff instead of these cheesy love songs that make me want to sleep.

| I am a 75 year old female, who is not very talented in music, but I am able to enjoy music. I used to think of this kind of music as very loud and disturbing, but after listening to this album, I was totally relaxed, and had enjoyed every note. I purchased the album. If you need to relax, play this album. |

| After hearing the song "Love Remains the Same" on the movie trailer of Nights in Rodanthe, I knew that I had to have this CD! When I first watched the movie trailer I was captivated by the passion and intensity of the song. I didn't know who sang it or what it was called. But what a great song! I think that the rest of the songs are pretty good too (although some are a little too heavy for me). Great CD! |

| Nobody playing today rocks as hard as The Black Keys! I stood in a jam packed crowd earlier this year to see these guys... and it was great. They generally mix in a couple of lower key songs... but mostly they rip and roar.
Nothing beats the real thing. If The Black Keys come to your town... go see them. But, this DVD can hold you over until then. If you have the first live DVD... the presentation is about the same... but the song list is different, of course. |

| Foo Fighters in my opinion took a nose dive previously on "In Your Honor". Skip two years to 07' and we have another Foo album to submerge ourselves into. Thankfully I managed to really take a liking to this one.
The variety of songs is much better then 'IYH', avoiding the categorizing process the last album strained and nit picked to the final bits (to the point you got dry hard rock, or dynamic free acoustic). | Undoubtedly my favorite Holiday CD. It has some goofy tunes that are total BNL style, and it's a must-have for any fan. I love the non-traditional versions of many of the songs! |

| Brandon Flowers's voice conveys more emotion than any of his other work, and the other band members do the same. Sam's Town is an experience and relates to me so much more than most other rock. I think the only reason sources reviewed the CD poorly was because of Rolling Stone. They thought the emotion and feeling was fake and cliche, probably because they didn't listen to the CD more than five minutes.
If they had, they would have found something deeper. |
