| It's amazing how much these guys just plain suck. I wish I could say, as a musicologist and collector (I'll listen to anything--even rap, if properly motivated), that I'm wrong and this is a great record, and you should queue it up right now but I can't. | There is no doubt in my mind that this will be a classic!
I honestly cannot think of the last Album I said that about? I bought this expecting a fun song here or there, but the entire Album is Great! | First let me state that I almost always refuse the trend to give a recording 5 stars merely because I enjoy it. I reserve 5 stars for those I find remarkable. I had to play this CD 3 times (now 4) the 1st day to confirm my initial awe.

| Would have given this 5 stars without a doubt, except for those missing songs!!! I get REALLY tired of these marketing ploys that victimize customers. Now we all know that, in the near future, there will be an expanded edition of the soundtrack with the deleted songs and maybe some incidental music added as inticement. So ABBA fans, Meryl Streep fans, and fans of musical theater will shell out another 15 - 20 bucks to buy it. It angers me!!! |

| love on the inside is by far the worst cd. i love sugarland and maybe i just had highier expectations for this cd. But this is like listening to the teacher scrape their fingernails across the chalkboard. most of the songs i wanted are not even on the cd except for all i want to do, Operation: working vacation and Life in a northern town. don't wast your money. |

| I'm normally not a big fan of Kid Rock, but the third track was getting so much air time on the radio over here in Germany that I decided to check it out. He's got a great mix of blues, soul, rock, and country. Loved the irreverent religious spin he put into packaging and in the lyrics. Not every track is solid, but 75 percent of the are great, and these days it's hard to find an album that offers that. I paid in Euros at a German music store, so the Amazon price is a great value. |

| Okay, for those John Mellencamp listeners that fell in love with his music by purchasing `Uh-Huh', `Scarecrow', `Big Daddy' or `Lonesome Jubilee' at some point in their lives, let me say that you should not purchase "Life, Death, Love and Freedom". With the exception of `My Sweet Love', you will be sorely disappointed. There is very little that is radio friendly. I can only compare it to the reaction from fans of Bruce Springsteen that purchased `Nebraska' thinking it would be another `Born in the USA'. That is the bad news.

| I got one! When is says "Limited Edition" it means just that. I ordered mine on the release date and received the numbered edition of 146,903/250,000. There's a DVD in this edition. I say, it's a required buy for all NIN fans. |
