| I hoped this would have been a great CD but was completely dissappointed. If I could download a few songs rather than waste my money I would. I like Paramore, Collective Soul, Linkin Park, and even Rob Pattinson (I love this song actually... him and Paramore's "Decode" are really all I wanted). Mutemath is ok and Bella's Lullaby is average but not at all what I thought it should sound like. In my opinion the rest is just awful. |

the first two movies here comes one more! HSM3 is now in theaters on the big screen. the sound track came out I think even before the movie went into theaters! HSM3 is awesome just like the first two. |

| This CD was a good idea, but fails because of some songs that just aren't very interesting (St. Elmos's - who wants to hear that again?) And American Idol runner up (it's worst year) Katharine McPhee is less talented than most lounge singers. To hear and watch her sing with Andrea is just awful. It sounds and looks like a master singer is teaching a freshman college student who has big dreams of being a singer. | Byrne has always appealed to my Asperger's side. I might have been the only 12 year old who bought "Stop Making Sense" and "Little Creatures" and wanted more. In doing this review, I am going to stick to just Byrne's lyrical albums as a comparison and avoid his instrumental works.

| Having watched August Rush at least 15-20 times, the music is forever ingrained in my memory. I saw it three times in the theatre and bought it immediately when it came out on DVD. It took me the better part of a year to buy the soundtrack, but once I did (last week), I have not stopped playing it!!!
I will at the outset, just get my minor complaints out. On the second track "Bach/Break" the beautiful cello that is interspersed throughout the track in the movie is missing. There is only cello in the beginning ... Read More: |
