| John Mayer couldn't have come to me with less of a negative vibe than he did when I was gifted this cd by a friend who is a huge fan. I have always liked her choices in music but she didn't help Mayer's cause by professing that she has often envisioned humping his leg during the many times she's seen him in concert. Her lust only underscored a common criticism of this artist; that he is more college girl heartthrob than cool guitar hero. It doesn't help that I'm beyond sick of seeing this guy's mug ... | This is a solid Rod Stewart collection but not "definitive." After all, it's missing some of Rod's best songs (not to mention biggest hits) including "Broken Arrow" "All for Love," "Having a Party," "(I know) I'm losing you," and many others. Part of the problem is that Rod has had a lot of hits, but still if you're going to say "definitive" you should have ALL the big hits, not just most of them. |

| If you are tired of the same old homogenized, formula music for the masses, you owe it to yourself to check out this superb double disc retrospective. Not a clunker here. My only quibble is that some of my Cooder favorites aren't here. Probably an issue with one of his labels. Otherwise, these are 2 discs you will never tire of! |

| Yawn! Why is this album in such high regard? It's crap. It's just a commercial computer manufactured pile of flaming poo. The guy can't even play guitar! He only knows how to play two chords. I think it's about time someone showed this hack to write music- Fred Durst, perhaps? |

| Nowhere on Earth are you going to find a better live album produced this Centry. Joe has been tearing up stages for nearly 20 years. This set is indicative of where he is at at this particular time in his career. Even though this recording what pieced together from a few different shows recorded in late 2007 it plays seemlessly.

| Bringing It All Back Home being Dylan's 1965 release and his 5th studio album is without a doubt a grand album. The album is divided into one accoustic and one electric side. Here we have classic tracks such as Mr. Tambourine Man, It's alright ma (I'm only bleeding). The book-let is very nice with a photograph on the cover of Dylan together with some woman. | I'm of an age such that I was growing up (early adolescence) when most of Led Zeppelin's albums were released; they (along with many other "giants" of that era) provided the soundtrack to my life during the mid- to late-'70s.
I've had two or three of the albums on LP or cassette, but never got the whole series, start to finish, until a year or so ago.
